IDDC panel discussion 'Realizing Accessible and Inclusive Development for All'
During the 4th session of the Conference of State Parties in New York IDDC is organising a panel discussion 'Realizing Accessible and Inclusive Development for All'. The Human Rights Council adopted a Resolution on 'The Role of International Cooperation in Support of National Efforts of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities'. This resolution highlights the importance of implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities through inclusive practice. In light of the recommendations of the Human Rights Council, IDDC wishes to explore ways to ensure that inclusive development becomes a reality, including in MDG-related work.
