Mary Wickenden

Mary works at the Centre for International Health and Development, a teaching and research centre that is part of University College London.
 
She teaches and does applied research in disability and development and has particular interests in research about:

- the lives and experiences of disabled children and their families , particularly looking at their perspectives,

- training and skillmix issues for disability workers in low income settings, 

- monitoring and evaluation of CBR

- cultural aspects of disability

She has worked mainly in South Asia and has ongoing collaborations in India, Sri Lanka and also in Uganda.
