MyRight (previously known as Shia) is an umbrella organisation within the Swedish disability movement which works at the request of 28 member organisations. Together we run international development co-operation in Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nepal, Nicaragua, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Tanzania. The goal for our joint work is to strengthen the possibilities of local partner organisations for running effective advocacy work for the rights of their members. MyRight’s role is to provide administrative support for our member organisations. We also work with quality assurance of the projects. Our vision is a society where the equality and the rights of everyone are respected.
