The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) will not succeed unless disability is included in plans for tackling poverty. Through its work with UN bodies and key global initiatives, the UN Task Group promotes the inclusion of the disability dimension, as well as disability-specific approaches, in all UN development policy and practice.
