A recent report released by the Secretary General of the United Nations on the Millennium Development Goals entitled 'Keeping the Promise: Realizing MDGs for Persons with Disabilities Towards 2015 and Beyond' features IDDC and the website www.IncludeEverybody.org. On the 8-9 November 2010 in Maastricht, The Netherlands, Maastricht University will be hosting a conference on the UN CRPD.

Seats still available on disability summer school in Jakarta, Indonesia

The VU University Amsterdam and the University of Indonesia are organising a Summer School on Disability & Development in Jakarta from July 12 – August 6, 2010.

The course is in English medium and is aimed at students with a Bachelor degree or equivalent who want to acquire more in-depth knowledge about disability issues in developing country situations. The focus is on CBR, project planning, disability-related information systems and monitoring and evaluation. We have a number of places still available on the course.
