Making it Work: Side event held at the third United Nations Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Leonard Cheshire Disability: Young Voices in Action at the Conference of States Parties

In the first week of September, Members of IDDC Member Leonard Cheshire Disability’s Young Voices project from Liberia, the Philippines and Canada showcased their work advocating for the rights of people with disabilities in a special event held an event at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

A recent report released by the Secretary General of the United Nations on the Millennium Development Goals entitled 'Keeping the Promise: Realizing MDGs for Persons with Disabilities Towards 2015 and Beyond' features IDDC and the website www.IncludeEverybody.org.
