CBM Christian Blind Mission is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. CBM addresses poverty as a cause and a consequence of disability.

With over one hundred years of experience working alongside people with disabilities in poor communities, CBM strives to remove the barriers that marginalise people with disabilities in the most disadvantaged societies in the world. CBM does this by working with partner organisations, influencing policy at all levels and responding to emergencies and natural disasters. The organisation works on local capacity development in poorer regions of the world to increase service delivery in the fields of healthcare, education, rehabilitation and livelihood development as well as organisational development of partner organisations.
