VSO’s vision is a fair world for everyone creating lasting change through volunteering. Our volunteering for development approach is unique as we unlock the power of people, bringing together local, national, and international volunteers to work alongside the world’s most marginalized and vulnerable communities to build generational change.
VSO volunteers work with health workers, teachers, school management, farmers groups, women’s collectives, organisations of persons with disabilities, civil society partners and governments to improve quality of services and rights of most marginalised communities.
VSO works along with partners on issues of health, education, and resilient livelihoods across the Asia Pacific region, and Africa.
VSO’s disability interventions is based on the twin track approach recognising that all development processes need to be inclusive of persons with disabilities.
