More than 70 organisations call for world leaders to deliver health equity for persons with disabilities and older people in progress towards UHC

Sixty-nine organisations have added their names to an International Disability and Development Consortium and International Disability Alliance statement for the High Level Meeting (HLM) on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) taking place at the UN General Assembly this week.

The statement calls for governments to prioritise health equity for persons with disabilities and older people in progress towards UHC, including by implementing the recommendations of the WHO Global Report on Health Equity for Persons with Disabilities and accelerating action to achieve the ambitions of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing.

Organisations who have not already signed the statement are still able to do so by adding their names through this form. We will continue to review and publish updates to this list of signatories regularly so we can use the statement to drive commitment and action on health equity for persons with disability and older people beyond the HLM.
