WHO-IDDC webinar “Is Telehealth accessible for people with disability?”
The current COVID-19 pandemic has revealed that many people with disability experience difficulties accessing and using telehealth services.
To address this, WHO and ITU have initiated the development of a global standard for accessibility of telehealth services.
Join WHO and the International Disability and Development Consortium for a seminar where we will:
- Discuss the use and potential of telehealth for people with disability
- Identify challenges that people with disability face when accessing telehealth services
- Outline concrete solutions that healthcare providers and manufacturers of telehealth platforms need to ensure when delivering telehealth services
*Captioning will be provided for this seminar. Please, let us know if you need any other reasonable accommodation to take part in the seminar.
