DCDD is a coalition of persons (individual members) and organisations (institutional members) working or interested in the field of disability and development co-operation.
DCDD aims for full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities, especially of persons with disabilities in developing countries. More specifically, DCDD aims to achieve involvment of persons with disabilities in policymaking and equal access of persons with disabilities in programmes of Dutch development cooperation.
- Awareness-raising regarding the position of people with disabilities and support for inclusive development cooperation policy;
- Exchange and cooperation between people and organisations who are active in disability and development cooperation;
- Innovation and change of policy towards inclusive development cooperation.
