EDF-IDDC analysis of the EU Strategy for the rights of persons with disabilities 2021-2030

The European Disability Forum (EDF) and the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) have developed a joint analysis and response to the external action component (Section 6) of the European Union (EU) Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2021-2030).

The EDF-IDDC analysis of the EU Strategy on the rights of persons with disabilities summarises key proposals and recommendations to reinforce the Strategy’s external action component around four priorities: meaningful participation, coordination, means of implementation, and leadership. The Annex (from page 5 onwards) contains deeper analysis on these topics, as well as additional recommendations.
